Qualities/Actions: Mullein has been used for centuries to support respiratory health and is often used in teas or tinctures to ease coughs, congestion, and bronchitis. Additionally, Mullein has anti-inflammatory properties and can be used topically to soothe minor skin irritations and wounds.
Beneficial for bronchitits and dry coughs as its rich in mucilage and saponins. Mullein is a natural expectorant which helps encourage a productive cough to remove the congestion.
Fun fact: The fresh leaves are known as "Cowboys Toilet Paper." Be sure to grab some next time you need to use the bathroom outside!
